There was a time, a time not prolonged ago, when there were no condominiums, no co-ops and no time-share properties. Back in my day there was no judgment of an unit building where everybody in it owned their possess chateau and common a drift of a building commonly. About 40 years ago, few people could suppose shopping a chateau that was anything other than a house.

Today there are people shopping condominium homes who have no thought that this kind of property was unheard of by their relatives not so prolonged ago.

HomeLife rolls out inhabitant billboard campaign

HomeLife Realty Services recently rolled out a inhabitant billboard promotion debate featuring a tagline, “Green and Gold Got It Sold!” The debate began with 100 billboards placed opposite a Greater Toronto Area and continues with another 234 billboards in markets opposite Canada. Cities enclosed in a debate are Halifax, Dartmouth and Bedford in Nova Scotia; Moncton and Fredericton, New Brunswick; Barrie, Brampton, Burlington, Hamilton, Kitchener, London, Oshawa, Ottawa and a GTA in Ontario; Winnipeg, Brandon and Steinbach in Manitoba; Regina and Saskatoon in Saskatchewan; and Calgary and Edmonton in Alberta.

IREM and REIC conferences set for Calgary

The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) Regional Leadership Conference and a Real Estate Institute of Canada Annual Conference are entrance to Calgary. The IREM contention is May 20 to Jun 1, followed by a REIC AGM Jun 2-3 during a Fairmont Palliser.

PKAR events lift income for many internal charities

The Peterborough and a Kawarthas Association of Realtors Community Involvement Committee presented a coupon for $5,000 to a Canadian Mental Health Association recently, one of many charities that has benefited from a association’s year-long fundraising efforts.

Each year a Peterborough and a Kawarthas Association of Realtors Community Involvement Committee selects a internal gift or charities to support with fundraising for a far-reaching accumulation of causes. In 2011, Realtor volunteers, members and staff donated hundreds of proffer hours to lift income for The Learning Disabilities Association, Canadian Mental Health Association, and Peterborough and Five Counties Children’s Centre. Fundraisers hold via a year as good as PKAR’s annual Charity Golf Tournament and Past Presidents Night Awards Auction yielded $14,530.

Coast Realty in Nanaimo commits to $30,000 donation

Coast Realty Group in Nanaimo, B.C. announced a three-year, $30,000 joining to Habitat for Humanity Mid-Vancouver Island (HFHMVI) – Raise a Roof. The supports will go towards building roofs on 3 HFHMVI duplexes in a subsequent 3 years, that will commission 6 families with home ownership.

The supports for Raise a Roof are generated by donations from tighten to 100 Coast Realty Group – Nanaimo Realtors who minister to a gift fund. Money will also be lifted by several events via a year.
