Quebec’s provincial real estate organisation will interest a new Quebec Court preference that upholds a right of a for-sale-by-owner organisation DuProprio.com to put For Sale signs outward properties and to publicize in newspapers.

In her judgement, Judge Nicole Martin wrote that DuProprio does not brand itself as a real estate attorney and that a promotion does not make it seem that it performs a tasks of brokers. In a statement, Robert Nadeau, boss and CEO of a Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ), voiced regard about a ruling, that he called contradictory.
