SRAR EO Harry Janzen dies in Saskatoon

Harry Janzen, EO of a Saskatchewan Region Association Realtors, died during his home Nov. 9 of pancreatic cancer. He was 58.

Born in Saskatoon, Mr. Janzen entered a real estate attention in 1978. He was a top-selling agent, an owners and a recruiter/trainer during several times in his career, and was broker/manager of Century 21 Dome in Saskatoon. He also served in several executive positions and as boss of a Saskatoon Real Estate Board.

His necrology says, “He desired his pursuit of use and caring and was as vehement for a success of others as he was for his possess successes and desirous others to be a really best they could be. He believed in continual alleviation and strived to investigate a really newest and best approaches for improving a services real estate can offer to a public.”

In an online book of condolences, Steve Funkner of North Battleford, Sask., wrote, “Harry was a large male with a large heart. we had a possibility to work with him during Century 21 when we worked with Leah Brisdon Associates, and he always seemed to have time to stop and listen to people even when he was busy. Harry leaves a outrageous blank in a Saskatoon real estate landscape and he will be missed. My condolences to his family and my prayers are with we during this time. The universe is a small dimmer and sky is a small brighter now that he is gone.”

Gary Emde of Saskatoon wrote: “I have seen Harry’s implausible expostulate and integrity while portion on SRAR with his guidance. He put his best into everything, and he wore his heart on his sleeve. Harry’s prophesy and his efforts to raise a business have not left unnoticed, and he will always be remembered for his joining to his passion of genuine estate.”

Harry Howard Janzen is survived by his mom Marian Janzen; a mom of his children, Therese Janzen; his son Rod (Cora) Janzen, his daughters, Julie (Dave) Hiebert, and Sheri (Jeff) Henderson and 8 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be hold on Monday Nov. 14 1 pm during Lakeview Free Methodist Church (Highway 16 Boychuk Drive) with burial to follow during Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, commemorative donations might be done to a Palliative Care Unit during St. Paul’s Hospital, 1702 20th St. W., Saskatoon, SK S7M 0Z9.
