After weeks of training and mixed fundraising events, 8 members of Team Sutton Seafair in Delta, B.C. climbed onto their bicycles for a tiresome two-day, 240-km float from Aldergrove, B.C. to Seattle. They lifted $26,000 for a B.C. Cancer Foundation by a Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer. Kathy Dickinson, associate attorney during Sutton Group – Seafair Realty and a group captain, credits her colleagues for their eagerness to attend in a prolonged stretch float and a fan support of a vast network of Realtors, staff, friends and clients.
She was means to attract 7 group members including Realtors Don Ross, Bridget Ross and Ben Lim from a Tsawwassen office, and Merilee McCaffery and Izabela Wasiela from a Richmond office, along with “many ancillary expel members”. Each bicyclist was compulsory to lift a smallest of $2,500 in pledges and finish aptness training.
